The idea for Aero Sense was born on a remote oil-and-gas site in China where two engineers kept running into the same issue: traditional gas monitors only screamed once danger was already present. They wondered if a monitor could do more—warn earlier, share readings instantly, and give the whole crew a clear picture of risk. That question drove them to build a rough prototype that streamed live H₂S data over a cellular link.
The proof of concept worked, and the team set out to turn it into a rugged, field-ready product. They partnered with experienced electronics manufacturers, tightened a lean supply chain, and refined the design until it passed Canadian safety certifications.
Today Aero Sense operates from British Columbia, delivering smart, connected gas-monitoring tools that help workers spot hazards sooner and head home safe at the end of every shift.
